THANKSGIVING WORSHIP SERVICE – Wednesday, November 27, 7pm
A very special Worship Service is being planned and will be offered to encourage and enable you to realize God is the Giver of all our bountiful blessings—and to come into His house in this special way…to give Him thanks.  This Service will be Wednesday, November 27, at 7:00 p.m.

In conjunction with this Service—and as one of our congregation’s Thanksgiving outreach traditions—we continue inviting one and all to bring canned goods**, etc., for an ingathering of bounty—to be used as part of the decoration and adornment of our Chancel/Altar area.  And then these food items will be taken to the SOS (Spirit Of Sharing) Food Bank in our community.  Please bring these items by Sunday, November, 24.  Thank you, in advance, for this Thanksgiving blessing! **PLEASE CHECK EXPIRATION DATES ON WHAT YOU BRING! – We don’t want to send food that has expired.  Thank you!

Call His Name Jesus is the title of the devotion booklet that will be available to all this season!  You’ll find copies of the take-home devotion in the narthex of the Sanctuary.  Take one to give to a friend or neighbor as an invitation to join you at church!

A long standing, 50+ year tradition in the New Braunfels community is the annual Advent Vespers Concert.  This year it will be held Sunday, December 1, 4:00 p.m.,
in our Sanctuary.  The concert features a  Community Massed Choir, singing and ringing in the music of the Christmas Season.  Want to sing?  YOU ARE WELCOME!  Three rehearsals will precede the Concert.  On Tuesdays, November 12, 19, and 26—from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m.—also in our Sanctuary.

Christmas is coming and that means it is time to start rehearsals for the Sunday School Christmas program! Dress rehearsal is Saturday, December 14, from 9:00 to 12:00 with lunch provided. The program will be on Sunday, December 15, at 10AM in the fellowship hall. ADVENT – preparing for the coming of Christ
Wednesday Midweek Worship opportunities – on the three December Wednesdays before Christmas.  On December 4, 11, and 18, we will have brief, devotional, “come as you are” Services at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  The tradition continues on December 18—as that 7:00 p.m. Service is “
Christmas At Cross” and features special music from all of our vocal and hand bell choirs!  Remember also the fellowship suppers that are hosted and served by members of our various Boards each of those three Wednesdays from 5:30 until 6:30, for a free will donation.  Plan now to make these Worship Services special times of Advent preparation for you and your family!
