There will not be the celebration of Holy Communion at the 11:00 a.m. Service.

DIAPER MOUNTAIN TOTAL
A NEW RECORD INGATHERING! – We thank God for the amazing and wonderful outpouring of love expressed in our annual diaper ingathering!  And we thank everyone who participated by bringing diapers and wipes!  Our total this year: 13,549!!!  And almost 12,000 wipes!!  Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow!

SUNDAY MORNING
Our youth thank you for supporting their ministry through the weekly Sunday morning purchase of tacos, etc.!  This is the MAJOR source of fundraising for District and National Youth Gatherings, as well as their Servant Event trips!

NATIONAL LUTHERAN SCHOOLS WEEK
Our Lutheran School will observe and celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week, which begins Monday, January 27, and culminates on Sunday, February 2. NOTE:
THE ANNUAL PANCAKE SUPPER WILL BE ON JANUARY 30 AT 5:30PM in the Fellowship Hall.

SAVE THE DATE!!  LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR IN CONCERT
On Saturday, March 21, 2020, the Choir of Lutheran High School, Kansas City, Missouri, will be at Cross for a 7:00 p.m. Concert during their Texas Tour.  More information will be coming your way!

Christ here at Cross:  Bill & Arlene Anderson, Dave & Andrene Everson, and Pastor Mark & Brittany Harris and their children, Ezra & Susanna.  ALSO, Welcomed into the Cross Family on Sunday, December 29, was Ken Maakestad.

Baptized on Sunday January 5, was Allie Cathleen daughter of Javarius & Laura Smith.

MEN’S BREAKFAST BIBLE CLASS (M.B.B.C.)
ATTENTION
, men of Cross!  On Friday mornings, we continue to gather to continue our look at the Lessons for each Sunday.  You are invited to join us for Bible study/fellowship from 6:30 until 7:30 a.m. at the I-HOP here in town—on the frontage road of I-35.  Hope to see you then!

BIBLE CLASSES 
Pastor Mark Harris is leading the Fellowship Center Class in a study of the New Testament book of Colossians—entitled “First Things First.”  The second Bible Class for adults meets in the Parlor—and continues a study of the Old Testament book of Job.  Classes begin at 10:00 a.m., and all adults are encouraged to attend Bible Class!  Grab a cup of coffee, breakfast taco, and/or donut (served out of the Large Kitchen in the Fellowship Center building,) and join us! 

ALCOHOL-FREE COMMUNION WINE/GLUTEN-FREE COMMUNION WAFERS For those who desire to receive wine that has been dealcoholized, there are white wine cups in the center of each tray.  In addition, gluten-free wafers are available on the paten (plate) held by Pastor Fraker.
