THY WILL BE DONE – Mid-Week Worship
We continue the journey of Lent with special Worship Services this Wednesday, February 28.  It is the time of more somber reflections upon the Passion (suffering and death) of our Lord Jesus.  Worship is at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., under the theme:  “The Good That God Wants To Give.”  In addition, a fellowship meal will be served from 5:30 until 6:30.  This week, our host is the Stewardship Board, and the menu is Sloppy Joes, baked beans, chips, and cookies.  A free will offering is received, and we thank you for supporting that aspect of our ministry with your donation!

SPECIAL VOTERS MEETING ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 25
THIS Sunday, February 25, following the 11:00 a.m. Service, there will be a special meeting of the voting assembly of Cross, and it will take place in the Fellowship Center.  The purpose of the meeting is to consider a resolution being brought forward by Board of Elders and approved by Church Council, that we not apply for a vicar for the upcoming academic year.  Written information is available that provides valuable background and explanation for the resolution.  You will find it on the tables in the back of the Sanctuary, marked “Special Voters Meeting Information”.
