THE MEN’S CLUB will not meet in December.

ADVENT CHOCOLATE!!
The tradition continues!  While the Liturgical Color of the Advent Season is
blue, and the theological framework and focus is the coming of Christ…the “unofficial” flavor of the season is CHOCOLATE!  Pastor Fraker’s Study is decked out with all kinds of chocolaty goodness…and you are invited to sample and enjoy!  Stop by any time and treat yourself to some Advent/Christmas chocolate cheer!

CHRISTMAS MARKET WILL BE OPEN TO YOU!
Wednesday, December 20 from 5:00-6:45pm, the Christmas Market will be open to you! Come see what great items were made for this event and do a little shopping for yourself! We'll be in the Parlor, so come by before you head to the evening meal or before you go into the church. Thanks so much for your support!

CHRISTMAS MARKET HELPERS NEEDED
We need your help! Christmas Market is coming fast! December 18 & 19! And we need elves to help kids choose just the right gift and also help them wrap! There is a sign-up in the narthex. Help us out for an hour or all day. We'd appreciate it! Thanks! Heidi, Elizabeth and Amy

SAVE THE DATE!
The Family Life Ministry Board and Youth Board invites you to “ join The Dingalings” for an evening of fun, food and fellowship. Come listen to all the bell choirs as they entertain you with their special concert! The concert is January 28th from 5-7p.m. in our Fellowship Center. A chili and cornbread dinner will be provided and a free-will offering will be taken to help purchase a 5th octave of bells. So save the date! More information in January!

“OFFICE” PARKING LOT
With the transition to the new security system, we are also inaugurating a different entry/access to the church/school office area.  When coming to the office on weekdays, please use the small parking lot—marked with the sign that reads:  OFFICE PARKING.  Then, please proceed up the sidewalk by the mailbox, and you will enter through the door at the end of the building.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE “E-CONNECTED” TO CROSS LUTHERAN?
What does this mean?  You might be asking yourself just that!  Simply, it means receiving electronic news and announcements from your church!  Did you know that you can receive this monthly newsletter electronically?  You can…and it helps your church save on paper and postage!  Simply let Trixy in the church office know!  Easiest way to let her know is via her email:  churchsec@crosslcms.org

In addition to the newsletter, there is also a weekly news & notes update that Trixy sends out to all who would like it and give us their email addresses.  It highlights what’s coming up for Sunday Worship and other events.  If you’d like that instead or as well, again—please let her know!

ONLINE GIVING IS NOW AVAILABLE
Cross Lutheran Church members are now able to give their contributions to the Lord and their church by way of our church website (see the Home Page).
We now have a button titled Give Online. Click there and you will go to the online Giving Site and then follow the directions. The financial site is completely secure and reports of your giving are sent to Jim Queen, the Financial Secretary at Cross.

This Online Giving provides you with the ability to give by self-directed bank transfers, or you may use your debit or credit card, or you may select a one-time gift or set up recurring contributions to the General Fund and Building Ministry Fund, as well as other ‘listed’ funds, including a limited number for our School Ministry.

If you are currently a ‘Simply Giving’ participant and wish to change to online giving—you will need to contact Jim Queen to let him know you wish to stop that method of giving, otherwise those contributions will continue.

In addition, visitors to our website will also be able to give a contribution to Cross Lutheran in the same way.

If you have questions, or would like more information, please contact Jim Queen at jwqueen@mac.com call him at 830-626-0334.
